When is changeover day?Friday. We request guests arrive after 4pm and vacate by 10am the following Friday. This allows time for the cottage to be cleaned and left spick and span for new guests. We do not take bookings for split weeks. Do you accept short breaks?We do only out of peak period. The price quoted is for the maximum of four nights. We cannot reduce this figure for fewer nights. This is because there are many fixed costs associated with hire: cleaning, fuel and laundary. What's included?Fresh linen, duvets and pillows are provided. Please note towels are not (personal or tea). The price quoted covers a large basket of logs and normal electricity usage. Can we bring our pet?Sorry, but we do not accept pets. Do I need to pay a security payment?Guests are asked to provide a £50 damage protection payment which will be returned at the end of the stay dependent on damages. We understand small breakages are a fact of life. These are not deductable. How do I book?Please complete the booking form. £100 cheque deposit secures your booking. The balance (including £50 security) needs to be paid at least 6 weeks before arrival although we always appreciate it when guests pay the full cost of the holiday at the time of booking. |
