Due to its perfect location, the cottage is ideally suited for exploring the rugged terrain of this unspoilt part of Wales. Surrounding the cottage are public footpaths with running streams which criss cross fields leading to mountains beyond. The village itself is a few minutes walk: handy for emergency provisions or a relaxing evening drink and meal. The famous Ffestiniog railway starts from Blaenau Ffestiniog 3 miles away. This is ‘must do’ activity as the historical engine winds its way through breathtaking scenery until it reaches journey’s end in Portmadog 9 miles away.
